Terms and Conditions
Team Entry, Payments & Game Formats
To secure your place at the Paul Johnstone Festival, it is imperative that all teams promptly complete registration and submit the required entry fee. The timestamp of your registration will be recorded from the day we receive your application. However, please be mindful that team approval is not automatic; you will receive a confirmation email once it is granted, and you will have 72 hours from the timestamp to pay your fees. Failure to pay the fees within the 72-hour window will result in your place being offered to a standby team. If your team is placed on the standby list, this indicates either that the age group is fully subscribed or our team is currently assessing your registration.
Game Format - 7-a-side. Max 10 players per team. Each participating team is allowed to bring 3 coaches/team leaders/officials to the event.
Should you opt to withdraw your team for ANY reason after approval and payment of the registration fee, the fee cannot be refunded (although a credit might be considered in specific cases).
ONLY PLAYERS, COACHES, TEAM FIRST AIDERS, AND EVENT ORGANISERS WILL BE PERMITTED INTO THE PLAYING AREA. SPECTATORS MUST REMAIN IN THE CONCRETE PATHS BEHIND THE GOALS
Tournament Cancellation and Force Majeure:
In the event that the Paul Johnstone Festival cannot proceed or is postponed due to circumstances beyond the control of the festival organizers (force majeure) or occurrences not attributed to deliberate intent or severe negligence by the festival organizers, the organisers cannot be held accountable for damages, expenses, or losses incurred by delegations. This includes transportation, accommodation, supplementary orders, financial losses, etc. Under such conditions, the organizers retain the right either to retain the complete registration/accommodation fee for a future tournament or to refund the delegations after subtracting costs already expended on organizing the tournament that could not be recovered from third parties.
Paul Johnstone Festival bears no responsibility for injuries or economic losses that might arise from war, warlike events, civil war, revolution, civil disturbances, actions by authorities, as well as strikes, lockouts, blockades, or similar incidents.
